Back...

Ouch. My back hurts. I woke up this morning with a major back pain. The only thing I can think of is that I carried Sam to bed last night after he fell asleep in my bed while I was taking a shower. He isn't exactly little anymore. But it didn't hurt to lift him so maybe I just slept wrong. Who knows. Hopefully it will just go away ...

St. Patrick's Day

We had a very fun St. Patrick's day. Sam loves green it is his favorite color so when he went to school he was wearing about five different layers of all green. There was no danger of him getting pinched. He even had clothes to spare. Sam does not really understand what St. Patrick's Day means he told me that on St. SpongeBob's day we wear camoflague and on St. Sandy's day we should wear pink. So funny. Yes, I too find it confusing why we celebrate Patrick Star's day and not SpongeBob. (Note: Sam is wearing his seat belt while pretending to drive my car ... safety first!)

Jane Austin

My friend Sally took this test and I was so excited. I love all the Jane Austin books. They are so much fun. I am not sure that I am really Elizabeth Bennett I think more often I am like Anne Elliot or Jane Bennett (but Jane wasn't one of the choices). At least I wasn't Kitty. HA!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day! Sam and I stayed up a little late last night putting together all his Valentine's for school today. We had so much fun picking which Valentine should go to which friend. He is having a fun party today with pizza, a cake walk and a heart hunt. Should be great. I asked Sam if he would be my Valentine and he said yes. Happy Valentine's to all our friends.

Strep

Poor Sam has strep. He has been sick all weekend and I thought he was feeling better so he went to stay at his dad's house for a visit. They called me and he has strep. My ex does not have insurance so they came to get my insurance card so they could get Sam on antibiotics and it broke my heart. I wanted to take Sam and bring him home with me. I know he is fine and will get better but the mother instinct just went into overdrive and I wanted to pull him out of their car and take him with me. I came back to work in tears. He is my baby and I should be babying him right now. And to top it all off I don't feel well at all ... hope I don't have strep!

Goodbye

Sam and I are so sad. Papa got a new job in Memphis Tennessee so Grandma and Papa are moving. I got used to free babysitting! Sam got used to swimming in their pool and playing with the dog. We are happy they are happy but we will miss them terribly.

What is it with the pull to the midwest? Kipp and Kumi are also moving to Indianapolis, Indiana. We will miss swimming in their pool and having them over to play games. We are missing them already and they are not even gone yet!
